Dalby recognises its sports stars!
There was once again a healthy roll up and the annual Dalby and District Sports Star of the Year Awards, held on the 11th of February at the Dalby RSL.
Supported by Warwick Credit Union in conjunction with the Western Downs Regional Council and the Dalby Herald, the event was an enjoyable night for all with local girl Chelsea Waters taking out top honours for her achievements in Track and Field Athletics.
Attendees were motivated by guest speaker Rugby League legend Shane Webcke who generously donated his time to benefit the up and coming sports stars of the Western Downs.

Warwicks Senior and Junior Warwick Daily News and Warwick Credit Union Sports Star of the Year awards are quickly approaching. The 12 junior sports star achievers will be recognised on the 14th of March with a presentation dinner at the Condamine Sports Club. Paralympian and local girl Carlee Beatie will be the special guest speaker for the evening, sharing her story of hard work, perseverance and dedication to her sport.
